BAICAPIL™

Baikal skullcap, wheat and soy germs stimulate hair growth and protect your hair follicles from ageing, as well as increase hair density and reduce hair loss. When using these ingrendients, you can expect younger-looking and healthier hair.
Baicapil™ is a combination of three plants: Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis), wheat (Triticum vulgare) and soybean (Glycine max sprout), which increase cell energy and activate the stem cells while protecting them from ageing. The combination efficiently combats hair loss by:

  • stimulating hair growth
  • increasing hair density
  • reducing hair loss
  • restoring the healthy and strong appearance of your hair

The roots of the Baikal skullcap contain lots of flavonoids (26 types), which is why the plant is widely used in Chinese medicine. The Baicapil™ complex contains soy and wheat germs, thanks to their rich carbohydrate, protein, lipid, and mineral element content. Hair follicles that are growing, use up glucose levels twice as fast to generate cell energy, compared to the follicles in the resting phase. Baicapil™ provides follicles with additional sugars, increasing the cell oxygen consumption to increase cell energy. The nutrients help the hair follicles to increase and be more active in increasing hair growth and density and in extending the growth phase. The stem cells of a dormant hair follicle are activated to produce new hair.
By activating the stem cells, Baicapil accelerates the onset of the anagen phase, producing a new hair strand.

HOPS™ EXTRACT

Hops have strong antioxidant, antiseptic and gentle, deep-cleansing effects, which help to fight hair loss.
Its extract is a great choice to treat and balance an oily or itchy scalp.
Hops originate from the temperate zones in Europe, Asia, and America. The plants grow in the wild, usually in damp forests and enclosures as weeds. In some areas, they can also be found in alder and willow forests. Hops extract is produced from the female flowers of Humulus lupulus.
Ancient Babylonians and Egyptians used hops as aromatic plants. However, the cultivation of hops took off more extensively in the Middle Ages when it was discovered that hops were a natural preservative of beer. The region of Bavaria became known in the beer world precisely because of the hops that was growing there. The natives of North America used hops to treat insomnia, gynaecological issues, and rheumatism. In the 17th century, hops was used to treat diseases caused by wars, as well as health issues, such as anxiety, psychotic disorders, and bladder inflammation. Some people also used it as a tranquilliser.
The distilled oil and extract of the plant are also used to flavour food or give liquids a scent. Ripe hops make beer clearer and give it the characteristic bitter taste. Hops can also be used to prevent bacteria from developing in the beer and the wort*. The female flowers of hops are used in producing brown hair dyes and beauty creams.

Polyplant Marine™ is a complex of plant extracts containing:

  • bladderwrack,
  • nori seaweed – an edible dried seaweed from the red algae species,
  • green algae, also known as sea lettuce,
  • wakame seaweed, which is a good source of magnesium, iodine, calcium, iron, and vitamins A, C, E, D and K.
  • Lithothamnium algae, a very slow-growing red alga, which is rich in minerals.

AMA OIL™

The amaranth seed extract restores the hair and forms a protective layer on it against excess moisture causing damage, and removes any frizziness.
Ama Oil penetrates the hair where the lipid layer is damaged. It forms a protective layer on the hair and protects the hair from excess moisture. Ama Oil protects your hair, helps hold the hairstyle in place, enhances the curls or keeps straightened hair straight, and has an anti-frizz effect.
The loss of lipids in the hair is caused by the chemical and mechanical treatment of the hair, and environmental factors. Protect your hair from excess moisture to keep it shiny and healthy. The damaged parts of the hair allow excessive water molecules to penetrate the hair and start forming new bonds with keratin fibres, causing frizz, and losing the original shape of the hairstyle. The lipid layer prevents excess moisture from penetrating the hair. The products that form a protective lipid layer on the hair help achieve a normal moisture balance and protect it with a natural protective layer. Ama Oil attaches to the area where the hair lipids are damaged, restores the inner structure of the hair and helps hold the hairstyle in place.
The amount of lipids in hair is limited – approx. 1–9%. Lipids are found in the outer layer of the hair, forming a barrier to protect the hair against water. The lipids between the outer layer and the inner layer bind the two layers together.
Ama Oil improves the lipid structure to ensure an optimum moisture balance in your hair, helps hold the hairstyle in place, and removes any frizziness. It penetrates the damaged parts of the hair that have lost their lipids and creates a protective coating against excess moisture penetrating between the keratin layers.
Ama Oil is produced from the seeds of the pendant amaranth (Amaranthus caudatus), rich in unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic, palmitic and oleic acid) and squalene.
Squalene is part of the natural lipid components of the hair, so the presence of this lipid increases the biocompatibility of Ama Oil with the hair, as well as its efficiency. In addition, amaranth seeds contain leucine (an amino acid needed for protein synthesis), arginine, lysine, sulphur, phosphorus, calcium, iron, potassium, zinc, and vitamins E and B.
Ama Oil controls excess moisture in the hair, prevents damage and helps hold the hairstyle in place even in poor weather conditions.

SOY COMPLEX™

Soy and Peruvian carob extracts strengthen and restore the hair from the inside, reducing hair breakage and making the hair more elastic and shinier.
The complex contains a high concentration of proteins, which are progressively released in the hair thanks to the exclusive 3D Matrix technology. The Matrix technology forms a protective layer of active ingredients and moisturising particles on the hair to help the product stay on the hair and the active ingredients work longer and improve the even distribution of the ingredients. The active ingredients will remain in the hair after rinsing but shampooing will help prevent an excessive build-up of the ingredients in the hair or on the scalp.
The paraben-free composition of the soy complex contains hydrolysed soy protein and Peruvian carob, or tara (Caesalpinia spinosa), extract. Healthy hair is naturally strong and elastic due to the healthy and intact structure of its keratin. As the hair grows old, it becomes more brittle. The proteins protect the hair from external factors and static electricity, repair and restore the hair and reduce the risk of breakage. Small molecular weight proteins can penetrate the outermost layer of the hair and get into the innermost layer, the cortex, to restore, strengthen and protect the hair from the inside. High molecular weight proteins form a protective and softening layer on the outermost layer of hair. Sunshine, low temperatures, and chemical treatment of the hair by bleaching and permanent waves, damage both the outer and inner hair structures. This will make the hair look frizzy, limp and difficult to handle. With its protein-rich composition, the soy complex protects your hair from external factors, making it soft and shiny and restoring the hair structure from within.

The complex of peptides and amino acids from carob seeds strengthens weakened and damaged hair.
Keratrix™ is a paraben-free complex of peptides and amino acids that restores weak and damaged hair fibres by boosting the innermost layer of the hair – the cortex – with natural nutrients. Strengthens the hair and protects it from becoming brittle. The hair is more resilient and elastic, stronger, and protected from mechanical, chemical and heat damage. The Keratrix complex releases its active ingredients gradually due to the exclusive Matrix technology which forms a protective layer of active ingredients and moisturising particles on the hair. It helps the product stay on the hair and gives the active ingredients more time to be absorbed. The ingredients will stay on the hair after rinsing but shampooing will prevent an excessive accumulation of the active ingredients on the hair or the scalp. The Matrix technology also helps the hairstyle hold longer.
The Keratrix complex covers the cornea of the hair with a protective layer that protects the hair and promotes the restoration of the hair fibre. This layer protects the hair from harmful external factors and increases its elasticity. In addition, Keratrix neutralises static electricity, with the positive charges creating bridges with the negatively charged keratin amino acids, helping to stabilise the peptide chains and thus making the hair easier to handle.
Tests on the effect of Keratrix™ have confirmed that the cornea of the hair becomes visibly smoother, and the hair becomes more elastic and softer.
