The sulphate-free moisturising body-wash with S+ Haircare’s signature fragrance contains a complex of seaweed extracts that moisturise, soften and tone the skin. The fragrance mix, with slightly woody undertones, combines Hawaiian Mamaki tea, rosemary, juniper berry and reindeer lichen.
The extracts of five algae
moisturise, reinvigorate and soften the hair and have a toning and stimulating effect on the scalp.
Polyplant Marine™ is a complex of plant extracts containing bladderwrack, nori seaweed, green algae, wakame seaweed, and red algae.
In algae, the potential of the nutrients is in a natural balance – it is easily absorbed and restores nutrient deficiencies in various organs and tissues. Algae absorb mineral salts, calcium, phosphorus, iodine, and vitamins from the sea. These elements help to naturally restore the vitality of the skin and hair and improve their appearance.
The complex has a toning, moisturising, stimulating, reinvigorating, and softening effect.
Free of SLS, SLES, parabens and silicones.
pH – 5.8
Apply the shower gel to moist skin, lather and enjoy, then rinse thoroughly. The skin will be soft, silky, and moisturised, and will not need a body lotion.
MAMAKI TEA, ROSEMARY, JUNIPER BERRY, REINDEER LICHEN
AQUA, SODIUM MYRETH SULFATE, COCOAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, PARFUM, COCO-GLUCOSIDE, GLYCERYL OLEATE, GLYCERIN, SODIUM CHLORIDE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, ENTEROMORPHA COMPRESSA EXTRACT, FUCUS VESICULOSUS EXTRACT, LITHOTHAMNION CALCAREUM EXTRACT, PORPHYRA UMBILICALIS EXTRACT, GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, LIMONENE, LINALOOL
AQUA
Solvent for ingredients that do not like to dissolve in oils but rather in water. the water used in cosmetics is purified and deionized (it means that almost all of the mineral ions inside it is removed). Like this, the products can stay more stable over time.
SODIUM MYRETH SULFATE
mild surfactant/cleansing, foaming, emulsifying. Dermatologically suitable for use as a basic surfactant in gentle cleansing preparations
COCOAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE
relatively mild surfactant that lifts dirt and oil from the skin and hair and it comes from coconut oil. It’s highly biodegradable.
PARFUM
Exactly as it sounds: a scented component in a cosmetic product, so that the end product also smells nice. Fragrance in the US and perfume in the European Union is a generic name in the ingredients list, consisting of an average of 30-50 chemicals (but can have up to 200 components). Natural perfume is as allergenic as synthetic, if not worse. Therefore, if your skin is very sensitive, it is worth paying attention, because perfume is one of the causes of contact allergy to cosmetic products.
COCO-GLUCOSIDE
A vegetable origin (coconut/palm kernel oil, glucose) cleansing agent that gives moderate to high stable foam. It's also biodegradable and mild to the skin.
GLYCERYL OLEATE
Glyceryl Oleate works mainly as a co-emulsifier and stabilizer to create stable water-oil mixes, aka emulsions.
GLYCERIN
Glycerin is a humectant, a type of moisturizing agent that pulls water into the outer layer of your skin from deeper levels of your skin. Glycerin is totally natural ingredient that is also in the outermost layer of our skin (called stratum corneum - SC) and helps to maintain the healthy state of our skin.
SODIUM CHLORIDE
viscosity controlling. That is the official function name for thickeners. These are ingredients that help to thicken up products so that they form a nice gel, serum or moisturizer like texture.
CAPRYLYL GLYCOL
Caprylyl glycol is used as a humectant and conditioning agent. It also increases the antimicrobial activity of other preservatives thereby increasing the shelf life of a product.
ENTEROMORPHA COMPRESSA EXTRACT
A green algae extract rich in carbohydrates, proteins and lipids, with protective properties for skin and hair
FUCUS VESICULOSUS EXTRACT
bladderwrack extract, which is a rich source of calcium, magnesium, mineral salts, carotenoids, C and B vitamins
LITHOTHAMNION CALCAREUM EXTRACT
an extract of red algae that grows only 2mm per year, which contains significant amounts of mineral salts, calcium, magnesium and iron, the extract has skin and hair care properties
PORPHYRA UMBILICALIS EXTRACT
an extract of the red algae (nori). This seaweed contains the highest levels of protein and amino acids. It has a high concentration of mycosporin-type amino acids, due to its great exposure to the sun's rays. Improves the structure of the hair, considerably increasing the elasticity and resistance of hair fibers. It also provides protection against external aggressions, dehydration and frizz.
GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE
Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is used as an anti-static agent, film forming and hair or skin conditioner; it also increases viscosity. Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is an alternative to harsh silicones. Conditioning agent.
ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN
Ethylhexylglycerin is a multifunctional cosmetic ingredient used as a humectant, emollient, and to boost the anti-microbial efficacy of other ingredients, including preservatives, to protect products from spoilage.
CITRIC ACID
Citric acid is used in small amounts to adjust the pH of the product or as an exfoliant, which, like other AHA acids, helps to gently remove dead skin cells from the skin and make the skin smoother and fresher. According to a comparative study, citric acid has less magical skin-healing properties than glycolic or lactic acid. Citric acid is therefore used in small amounts as an excipient to adjust the pH of the product.
SODIUM HYDROXIDE
buffering, denaturant. The unfancy name for it is lye. It’s a solid white stuff that’s very alkaline and used in small amounts to adjust the pH of the product and make it just right. For example, in case of AHA or BHA exfoliants, the right pH is super-duper important, and pH adjusters like sodium hydroxide are needed.
POTASSIUM SORBATE
It's one of those things that help cosmetics not to go wrong too soon, aka a preservative. It works against mold and yeast.
SODIUM BENZOATE
ingredient that helps to make the products stay nice longer, aka preservative. It works mainly against fungi.
LIMONENE
a common fragrance, found in rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, and is a major component of citrus peel oil. When exposed to air, limonene oxidizes and can cause allergic contact dermatitis. Sensitive skin should be careful
LINALOOL
A common fragrance. It is found in both plants and cosmetics. It is part of 200 natural oils, including lavender, ylang-ylang, bergamot, jasmine, geranium, and is found in 90-95% of prestige perfumes on the market. Linalool oxidizes when exposed to air and becomes allergenic. Therefore, a product containing linalool that has been open for several months is more likely to be allergenic than fresh. Sensitive skin should be careful.
